Project 3 - Bouncing Ball

Planning

The animation follows a ball that, upon seeing its friend bouncing across the room, wishes to join in its merriment. It bounces once, to its delight, and then bounces higher, and then slams into the ceiling. Defeated by its hubris, the ball slumps down to the floor.

Principles of Animation

Squash and Stretch - In the first image, we see the squashing of the blue ball as the green one passes overhead
Anticipation - In the second, the blue ball squashes in anticipation for a jump
Exaggeration - In the third image, the ball squishes the most it's ever squished to give that feel of a dejected sigh
